There’s nothing more exciting than watching your pup walk into a brand-new place, tail wagging, ready to meet new friends. At Abby’s Dog Care, we know that a first day can feel like the first day of school — for both dogs and their humans. That’s why we’ve created a smooth, stress-free process to help you and your pup feel right at home.
Before your dog joins the pack, we set up a free evaluation day. Think of it as your pup’s “orientation.” All you’ll need to do is fill out our online form, create your Account, and upload your dog’s records.
On the big day, you’ll drop your dog off between 7 AM and 1 PM, leash in hand — no toys or food needed. From there, our staff takes over with gentle introductions and careful observation. We’ll see how your dog interacts with people, tests out their socialization with other dogs, and find their perfect playgroup — Poco, Medio, or Grande. When you return later that afternoon, we’ll walk you through how your pup did and share next steps. Some dogs are ready to dive right in, while others may need a bit of training before joining full time. Either way, we’ll guide you through it.
Once your pup is officially a member, it’s time for the fun to begin! At check-in, you’ll receive your Abby’s Membership Tag — a quick scan system that makes drop-off and pick-up effortless. Inside, your dog will spend the day in our open-air, clean, and secure play spaces, making friends and burning energy. By the time you pick them up between 4 PM and 6 PM, they’ll be happily tired and ready to head home.
We keep things simple: one monthly membership, no daily chaos. Our community is made up of temperament-tested dogs who come consistently, so your pup gets to play with familiar faces in a safe, structured environment. With a Full Membership, you can bring your dog Monday through Friday as often as you like. Or, choose a Half Membership, which gives you nine visits a month — perfect for busy families who still want their dog to socialize regularly.
