Staying Comfortable in every Season at Abby’s Dog Daycare

When temperatures drop in the winter — or rise during the summer — dogs still need exercise, fresh air, and social time in a safe environment. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), prolonged exposure to extreme cold can put dogs at risk for hypothermia and frostbite, especially smaller or short-haired breeds. That’s why at Abby’s Dog Daycare, we prioritize your dog’s wellbeing in every season with a thoughtfully designed space that keeps them safe and comfortable.

Our spacious facility offers fresh-air outdoor play areas along with climate-controlled indoor spaces, giving dogs the freedom to roam in and out throughout the day with their doggy pals. In the winter, we heat our indoor areas to keep pups warm and cozy. When the weather warms up, we keep our indoor spaces cool and comfortable. Dogs can run, explore, and burn energy outside, then head indoors to warm up or cool down whenever they need. They’re grouped by size into Poco, Medio, and Grande play groups so they can socialize and play confidently with appropriate friends in a structured environment.

At ADC, your dog’s happiness and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Abby’s Dog Daycare is more than just a place to play — it’s a safe, welcoming space where dogs of all sizes can socialize, explore, and thrive year-round in secure indoor and outdoor areas.
